EL208 is a small and medium-sized two-way line array speaker system. It is a miniaturized sound reinforcement product in the TASSO EL2 series. The EL208 has a consistent phase response with the large line array speaker systems in the entire EL2 series of Tasso, and can be used as a supplement to the large EL2 system, or used alone in indoor language and music applications. In order to expand the lower playback frequency limit of EL208 when used alone, the EL208 system can also be used with an 18-inch woofer model EL120BAD. The EL120BAD has a cabinet with the same width as the EL208 and hanging hardware with the same specifications, and can be connected to form an overall line array system and hung together. EL120BAD is an active speaker, which has a built-in power amplifier and DSP module. The three-channel independent power amplifier can provide drive for EL208. For fixed installation, a passive version of EL120BAD is available to facilitate equipment management and maintenance, model number is EL120B.

EL208 consists of two 8-inch cone subwoofer units and a 1.75-inch high-frequency compression driver. It is an all-neodymium magnet and the compression driver is equipped with a wavefront conversion horn. It has a built-in passive crossover network and is driven by 1 power amplifier; the rated power is 450W, the sensitivity is as high as 102dB, and the frequency range is 60Hz-20kHz. The matching subwoofer model EL120BAD consists of an 18-inch low-frequency speaker with a lower frequency limit of up to 35Hz. EL120BAD has built-in three channels and two-in and three-out DSP, with a rated output power of 2*450W+1000W. In addition to driving its own 18-inch woofer, it can also drive two EL208. The speakers all use DSP for acoustic correction.

The EL208 system is widely used in various indoor sound reinforcement applications, and can also be used as a supplement to medium and large sound systems such as EL2103 and EL2123.
